Truck fans look forward to the release of the new Dodge lineup all year. That anticipation hasn’t subsided either. If anything, the Ram’s popularity has only grown. Getting named Motortrend Truck of the Year three out of the last four years has something to do with that. Building In truth, Dodge has earned their top-tier reputation the old fashioned way, by building great trucks that are priced competitively. And, as you’ll soon find out, the 2023 Dodge Ram lineup looks to deliver much of the same. The world has waited long enough! At long last, it’s time to check out the 2023 Dodge Ram lineup!

Check Out the 2023 Dodge Ram 1500

This year’s 1500 is yet another masterfully executed addition to the Dodge Ram legacy. Three powertrain options, cleverly designed storage and cargo features, and an upgraded infotainment system improve what was, and still is, one of the best full-size pickup trucks on the market.1Trims

  • Tradesman: $39,305
  • HFE: $40,942
  • Lone Star: $44,520
  • Big Horn: $44,520
  • Laramie: $54,470
  • Rebel: $54,695
  • Longhorn: $61,230
  • Limited: $65,645

Performance

The 2023 Dodge Ram 1500 rides as smooth as ever, thanks to its best-in-class suspension across all of its trims. The truck is available in three separate powertrains including V-6 and V-8 gasoline options, as well as a 260-hp diesel V-6.

The 1500 can tow up to 12,750 pounds and carry a maximum payload of 2320 pounds, which tops every truck in its class not named Ford. Hybridized engines available on the V-6 and V-8 help keep the Ram 1500’s fuel economy down to earth too.

Safety

All of this year’s trim packages feature an impressive slate of standard and available safety and driver-assistance features. There are too many to mention here, but the highlights include electronic stability control and roll mitigation, a 360-degree surround view camera, forward collision warning, blind spot awareness and more.

Interior

Dodge calls the interior trims available in their 2023 Ram 1500 lineup the most luxurious ever, and we tend to agree. The interior storage is functionally designed, and the higher trims feature a ton of high-quality material options including genuine wood accents and premium leathers.

The 2023 models continue their infotainment dominance once again, with a standard 8.4-inch responsive touch display with an optional 12.0-inch upgrade. Both of which are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto ready.

Check Out the 2023 Dodge Ram HD

Next up is the undisputed powerhouse known as the Ram HD, available with 2500 and 3500 options. This line is made for those that need professional-grade towing capabilities, but the numerous high-end upgrade options mean the Dodge Ram HD is much more than a work truck.2Trims

  • Tradesman: $46,285
  • Lone Star: $50,815
  • Big Horn: $50,815
  • Laramie: $63,615
  • Rebel: $68,940
  • Longhorn: $70,650
  • Limited: $74,220
  • Power Wagon: $78,160

Performance

2023’s HD line of Dodge Rams is made with three available engines including a 410-hp 6.4-liter V-8, and two versions of the 6.7-liter Cummins diesel inline-six. The diesel configurations are bulky, and a touch less speedy, but the torque they generate render the HD Ram a serious heavyweight as far as towing and payload capabilities are concerned.

The Ram 3500 can tow 37,090 pounds and haul a payload of 7,680 pounds, with the fan favorite 2500 4X4 boasting a max payload of 2380 pounds and a towing capacity of 19,010 pounds.

Safety

Not unlike the 1500, the Dodge Ram HD lineup is loaded with standard and available safety features. Available forward-collision warning with automated emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, and a 360-degree camera can all be had here too.

Interior

With so many trim options available, it’s hard to zero in on just one thing to love about Ram’s interior offerings. Everything can be upgraded, right on down to the passenger space. Every Ram HD comes with acoustic glass and active noise canceling standard, with luxurious upgrades like striped wood and gold trim and premium materials available.

The on-board infotainment system is a thing of beauty too. It comes with a standard 8.0-inch touchscreen that can be upgraded to a monstrous 12-inch, both with navigation and WiFi hotspot capabilities. As you’d expect, the Ram infotainment system is compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
